Terms And Conditions - WSOP Multi Event

(WSOP EVENT 1-55)

By buying-in to, or participating in World Series of Poker (WSOP) "Multi Event" online satellite tournament, or the Multi Event online final tournament (the "Multi Event Tournament"), the player agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. A player can buy a seat to participate in any level of the Multi Event Tournament (satellites or online final), for cash plus a fee (the "buy-in"). The amount of the buy-in will depend on the level of the tournament entered into by the player.
  2. The winner/s of the final of the Multi Event Tournament will win a prize package (the "Package") consisting of the following:
    1. two return economy airfare to Las Vegas, USA,
    2. up to 60 night's hotel accommodation in Las Vegas – USA,
    3. initial entry into non-overlapping events of the players choice (events 1 – 55) of the World Series Of Poker to be held in Las Vegas, USA between 1 June and 6 July 2007 which the winner is, in terms of the rules set by WSOP management, eligible to participate in and for which the entry fee is $10,000 or less (the "WSOP Event"). A maximum of $50,000 is available to cover the cost of tournament entries.
    4. $3,500 spending money (which will be given to the player upon arrival in Vegas).
    5. N.B. 1 package will be awarded to every 100-players participating in the online final.
  3. The player acknowledges that should he/she win a Package, he/she will not be eligible to participate in those events which, in terms of WSOP rules, are reserved for a specific category of player. For example, event 15 is reserved for female players only. Furthermore, the player acknowledges that it is possible that more than one event may be underway at the same time. Prima Poker will only be obliged to pay the player's entry in to an event if: i) the player is seated at the event table at the commencement of the event, and ii) the player is eligible to participate in such event, and iii) the cost of entry in to such event is $10,000 or less. No payments will be made to the player in lieu of entry into an event.
  4. No cash awards will be made from satellite game seat wins to the next level. All prizes are entries to the next level of the Multi Event Tournament with the exception of the final, the prize for which is a Package to each of the winners.
  5. "Sit & Go" feeders when used in the Multi Event Tournament structure, will be multi-level where winnings at any level are taken in the form of tokens which are non-cashable. Unused player tokens at the end of the Multi Event Tournament are non-cashable.
  6. Prima Poker reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to buy-back entire Packages from players. The price payable by Prima Poker to buy-back a Package will be $68,500.
  7. The player must be 21 years of age or older in order to receive the Package. It is the player's responsibility to ensure, prior to participating in the Multi Event Tournament, that the playing of poker over the internet is lawful in his/her jurisdiction.
  8. Subject to rule 6 above, the player may not sell, trade, assign or in any way transfer any prize won, including a Package or any part thereof, without Prima Poker's express, prior written consent.
  9. It is the individual winner's responsibility to ensure that all travel documents (passport and visa, as required) are in order and to obtain any required travel and medical insurance. Lack of proper travel documents may be grounds for disqualification. Prima Poker will book all travel and accommodation.
  10. The player agrees that his/her real name, alias and images can be used for promotional purposes.
  11. The player agrees that should he/she win a Package, he/she will wear the branded apparel (hat and/or T-Shirt) provided to him/her by Prima Poker and will wear such branded apparel in accordance with the instructions provided Prima Poker management.
  12. The player acknowledges and understands that the WSOP Event may receive wide media coverage including television coverage. The player agrees to be filmed and interviewed during his/her participation. The player agrees that it may be a pre-condition of entry to the WSOP Event, for him/her to sign a media network's release form.
  13. As in poker tournaments of this nature, players may not sit out a hand. Players who are not present shall be "blinded off" and their hands folded until they have no more chips and are eliminated.
  14. All games within the Multi Event Tournament shall be Single or Multi-Table, no-limit Hold'em tables, following standard Poker rules.
  15. The prizes will be displayed in the tournament lobby as registration closes for each tournament.
  16. Decisions as to players' eligibility to enter the Multi Event Tournament and the WSOP Event and to remain in and compete in same are at the sole discretion of Prima Poker management, or as the case may be, WSOP management, and any decisions taken by such management in this regard are final. Prima Poker management reserves the right to deny entry to the Multi Event Tournament and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
  17. Prima Poker management reserves the right to change the rules and/or structure of the Multi Event Tournament at its sole discretion. Any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
  18. Prima Poker shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of a Package as a direct or indirect result of accepting the Package and participating in the WSOP Event.
  19. The Winner of the Package agrees to conduct himself/herself in an appropriate manner at all times during the WSOP Event and not do or say anything which may bring Prima Poker into disrepute.
  20. The player understands and acknowledges that in order to receive the Package and participate in the WSOP Event, he/she may be required to agree to any further terms and conditions set by Prima Poker or set by WSOP management governing the WSOP Event itself.
  21. Prima Poker management reserves the right to amend or alter the Package. Any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
  22. The player acknowledges and understands that any prize won may be taxable. The player is solely responsible for making any necessary disclosures to the appropriate authorities and for payment of any taxes on any Package or prize won.
  23. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  24. The player agrees that each term and condition set out herein is fair and reasonable and agrees to be bound by them.
