TERMS And Conditions - WSOP Championship Ladies Event
(WSOP EVENT 17)
By buying-in to, or participating in World Series of Poker (WSOP) Event 17 online satellite tournament, or the online final (the "Online Tournament"), the player agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- A player can buy a seat to participate in any level of the Online Tournament (satellites or online final), for cash plus a fee (the "buy-in"). The amount of the buy-in will depend on the level of the tournament entered into by the player.
- The winner of the final of the Online Tournament will win a prize package (the "Package") consisting of the following:
- return economy airfare to Las Vegas, USA
- hotel accommodation in Las Vegas – USA
- the entrance fee into the Ladies event (Event 17) at the World Series Of Poker in Las Vegas, USA on 10 -12 July 2007 (the "Event")
- 500 USD spending money given to the winner on her arrival in Las Vegas
- ONLY FEMALE PLAYERS MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE ONLINE TOURNAMENT AND IN THE EVENT. Any Package won by a male participant will be forfeited. Any individual player can only win one Package.
- No cash awards will be made from satellite game seat wins to the next level. All prizes are entries to the next level of the Online Tournament with the exception of the final, the prize for which is a Package to each of the winners.
- "Sit &Go" feeders when used in the Online Tournament structure, will be multi-level where winnings at any level are taken in the form of tokens which are non-cashable. Unused player tokens at the end of the Online Tournament are non-cashable.
- Prima Poker reserves the right to buy-back entire Packages from players. The price payable by Prima Poker to buy-back a Package will be 4,200 USD
- The player must be 21 years or older in order to receive the Package. It is the player's responsibility to ensure, prior to participating in the Online Tournament, that the playing of poker over the internet is lawful in her jurisdiction.
- Subject to rule 6 above, the player may not sell, trade, assign or in any way transfer any prize won, including a Package or any part thereof, without Prima Poker's express, prior written consent.
- It is the individual winner's responsibility to ensure that all travel documents (passport and visa, as required) are in order and to obtain any required travel and medical insurance. Lack of proper travel documents may be grounds for disqualification. Prima Poker will book all travel and accommodation.
- The player agrees that her real name, alias and images can be used for promotional purposes.
- The player agrees that should she win a Package, she will wear the branded apparel (hat and/or T-Shirt) provided to her by Prima Poker and will wear such branded apparel in accordance with the instructions provided Prima Poker management.
- The player acknowledges and understands that the Event may receive wide media coverage including television coverage. The player agrees to be filmed and interviewed during her participation. The player agrees that it may be a pre-condition of entry to the Event, for her to sign a media network's release form.
- As in poker tournaments of this nature, players may not sit out a hand. Players who are not present shall be "blinded off" and their hands folded until they have no more chips and are eliminated.
- All satellite games shall be Single or Multi-Table, no-limit Hold'em tables, following standard Poker rules.
- The prizes will be displayed in the tournament lobby as registration closes for each tournament.
- Decisions as to players' eligibility to enter the Online Tournament and the Event and to remain in and compete in same are at the sole discretion of Prima Poker management, or as the case may be, WSOP management, and any decisions taken by such management in this regard are final. Prima Poker management reserves the right to deny entry to Online Tournament and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
- Prima Poker management reserves the right to change the rules and/or structure of the Online Tournament at its sole discretion. Any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
- Prima Poker shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of a Package as a direct or indirect result of accepting the Package and participating in the Event.
- The Winner of the Package agrees to conduct herself in an appropriate manner at all times during the Event and not do or say anything which may bring Prima Poker into disrepute
- The player understands and acknowledges that in order to receive the Package and participate in the Event, she may be required to agree to any further terms and conditions set by Prima Poker or set by WSOP management governing the Event itself.
- The player acknowledges and understands that any prize won may be taxable. The player is solely responsible for making any necessary disclosures to the appropriate authorities and for payment of any taxes on any Package or prize won.
- Any players who do not redeem their Rounders tokens (if applicable) whilst Online Tournament is running, are eligible to an entry in an invite only freeroll with a prize value equivalent to the sum of all unused tokens, (i.e. no matter what level / value they have). A special freeroll will be held on a date and time to be confirmed. Regardless of the number of tokens held, players will only get one entry into this once-off tournament. All players in this Online Tournament will start with the same number of chips.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- The player agrees that each term and condition set out herein is fair and reasonable and agrees to be bound by them.
