Introduction To American Roulette

This game of Roulette is based on the standard American style Roulette. The wheel has numbered pockets ranging from 0 to 36. The outcome of a game of Roulette is determined by where the ball stops on the wheel. Once the bets are placed on the table, a small ball is released on to the spinning wheel, in the opposite direction to the spin. The ball stops in one of the numbered pockets of the Roulette wheel. The objective is to predict the number the ball will land on. You place a bet on your prediction.

How to play American Roulette

  1. Click the required Chip displayed on the Roulette table to select the chip size you want to bet with.
  2. Click the required Chip displayed on the Roulette table to select the chip size you want to bet with. Place your bet. For more information about the different types of bets. See Bets & Payout Schedule.
  3. Click the Spin button. The ball is dropped onto the Roulette wheel.
  4. The ball stops in a pocket on the Roulette wheel.
  5. The Dauber (marker) is placed on the winning number on the Roulette table, and the winning number is displayed in the Winning Number Display.
  6. If you have a winning number, the win amount is displayed in the Win box. If you do not have a winning number, the game is over and you can play again.

Outside bets

A bet outside of the table layout.

Call bets

Multiple bets placed on the Roulette table at the same time, by the same player.

Neighbor bets

Bets placed on the neighboring numbers of a Straight Up number on the Roulette table.

Roulette Inside bets & Payout Schedule

Straight up bet

A bet on a single number. The chip is placed in the center of the number.

Split bet

A bet on two adjacent numbers, also known as a two-number bet. Winner is paid 17 to 1.

Street bet

A bet on any three numbers in a row, also known as a three-number bet. Winner is paid 11 to 1.

Square bet

A bet on a block of four numbers, also known as a four-number bet. Winner is paid 8 to 1.

Line bet

A bet on six numbers, comprising two adjacent rows. Winner is paid 5 to 1.

Roulette Outside bets & Payout Schedule

Column bet

A wager of 12 numbers in a column at the same time. Winner is paid 2 to 1.

Dozen bet

A bet on one of three different groups of numbers: 1-12, 13-24 or 25-36. Winner is paid 2 to 1.

Even-Money bet

A wager on either odd or even numbers on the wheel. Payout is 1 to 1.
