What happens to my chips when I get disconnected?

When playing on the Internet, there is always a risk of getting disconnected. If you get disconnected during a game, the software will try to reconnect you automatically and return you back to your seat if possible. Normally you will be disconnected for a short time only, and you may be back in time to act. If the connection between your ISP and our server is momentarily dropped, you can be disconnected from the game but not the internet. Unfortunately, that is something beyond our control. We do try to reduce the effects as far as possible, for instance by transferring players on auto-pilot mode in tournaments or providing “All-in Protection” in poker cash (regular) games. During tournaments the All-in protection is not valid and your hand will fold automatically. The same rule applies to the playmoney tables.
