TRAZOM TRIUMPHS IN IRISH OPEN ONLINE FINAL!

March 4th, 2008, 09:34

Last Sunday @ Gnuf, ‘trazom’ won himself an Irish Open Prize Package worth $9200 and will now fly over to Dublin to battle it out for a share of €3 Million against top professional poker talent and online players from all over the globe.

Interview with Irish Open Package Winner, Gnuf player ‘trazom’

Gnuf: Congrats trazom, how does it feel to win the Irish Open seat through Gnuf?

Trazom: Great! Looking forward to it.

Gnuf: About the online final, were you in a good spot all the time?

Trazom: Yeah, was top 5 throughout most of the tournament!

Gnuf: Remember any special hands that really solidified your top position?

Trazom: Oh yeah, there was one hand, pretty early on, where one guy limped utg+1 and I limped right after him with 5d 3d. Flopped the straight on a A 2 4 board and got AQ to play to the river, where he hit his top two with a Q and paid off my all in bet!

That was probably 30 minutes in, and gave me the chiplead!

Gnuf:What other games are your favourites apart from satellites?

Trazom: I play shorthanded and heads-up cash games, and often play the big sunday tournaments on various sites. NL Texas Holdem that is.

Gnuf: How long have you played poker, and how did it all start?

Trazom: I made a deposit the same day I turned 18 and got some help from a friend who was already playing – so 3 and half years now.

Gnuf: Have you ever been to Dublin before?

Trazom: No, this will be my first time.

Gnuf: What are you most looking forward to in Dublin? (besides the poker)

Trazom: Staying dry

Gnuf: What would you do with a share of €3 Mill

Trazom: Depends on the share.

If i score big, I will travel to more live tournaments, which is my goal for this year since I am taking a break from school – to focus on poker.

Gnuf: Thank you for you time, we really appreciate it, and congrats once again. Now for the most important question of all. Guinness or Murphys?

Trazom: Guinness

Gnuf: Smart man. May Irish eyes smile on you in Dublin, trazom. Cheers!
